Q. Will my name and contact information be publicly available?
Yes. Information about the registrant and people who is responsible to manage, billing
and administration is publicly available to allow rapid resolution of technical
problems and to permit enforcement of consumer protection, trademark and other laws.
This information is available to the public through the WHOIS service.
Q. What if the domain name I want to use is already taken?
You can choose an alternative domain name, or same name with different TLD/ extension,
for example, if myDomain.com is not available, you can register myDomain.net if
available, or wait until the current one expires (not recommended) or if you feel
that you have a right to the unavailable domain name, you could follow the domain
dispute policy and try to acquire that particular domain name. Check the website
availability and register your website now
Q. How long does it take to register a domain name?
The domain registration is completed as soon as we receive the completed registration
form and payment. The registration process takes few minutes. A confirmation email
is sent to the domain name's administrative and billing contacts with the details
of the domain registration.
Q. How do I renew my domain registration?
If we are the Registrar for your domain name, you can renew and extend the registration
term for your domain at anytime by logging into the Domain Control Panel. Domains
can be renewed and extended for periods from 1 to 10 years except any .IN TLD which
can be registered or renewed 5 years at a time. Transfer and renew your website

Q. How do I modify an existing domain name record?

contact, the registrant address, eMail address, phone number and fax number from
your Domain Control Panel and at any time.
Q. My domain name is about to expire. How do I renew it?

Q. How do I transfer from my current Registrar to your company?
Once you let us know the domain name to transfer and pay the transfer fee, we will
initiate the transfer process, which will send an email to the current admin contact
as listed in the WHOIS. You need to approve the transfer. In the next 24-48 hours,
you may receive another email from your current registrar asking you to approve
the transfer. Some registrars just notify you about the transfer and do not need
your approval. It may take about a week for the actual transfer to take place. When
you transfer a domain, it is automatically renewed by 1 year. Note that, you will
not be able to transfer a domain up to 60 days from the date of registration. Similarly,
if you transfer the domain within 45 days after renewing it, your current renewal
is cancelled and you will get only 1 year of renewal that you normally get from
the us. If you transfer after 45 days of the renewal, you will retain that renewal
that you have done and you get 1 year renewal from us as usual. Transfer and Renew
your website now
Q. How do I cancel my domain name?
If you cancel it with in one hour of registration, we will be able to cancel and
refund partial domain registration fee after deducting cancellation charges and
credit card processing charges if any. If you want to cancel the registered domain
name after one hour of registration, it can not be cancelled since registries do
not allow cancellations with a refund. If you no longer want your domain name, we
suggest that you attempt to sell your domain name through a domain name broker or
give your domain name to an interested party or leave it without renewing it.
Q. How do I change my domain name server (DNS) information?
If your domain name is registered through with us, you can login to your account
manager via the Domain Mangement link to modify the name server information for
your domain name at any time.
Q. How often is WHOIS information updated?
As soon as you change the information, we send the request to the WHOIS database
instantly, however, it may take some time to reflect in WHOIS database. For .COM
domains, it may take about 6 hours and it varies for other TLDs.
Q. I already have a web site. How can I get my domain name to point to my web
site?
You need to set the ‘A’ record of your new website to the same IP address
as the existing website and either send a request to the existing website hosting
company to point the new website to the existing website OR you can do it your self
in the website hosting control panel. If we have designed your website and hosting
it, we can do all of those tasks for you. Register a new website and point to your
existing website now
Q. I have misspelled my domain name. How do I go about getting it corrected?

spelling corrections. An alternative is to register the correctly spelled domain
name and forward the incorrect one to your correct one. This will allow your customers
can still find you even if they make the same mistake. Find variations of your website
name and register many domains in few simple steps
Q. When I register my domain name with your company, who actually owns it?
Unlike some Registrars, when you register your domain name with us, the Registrant

for the duration of the current registration term. We have no interest in owning
your domain name(s). If we wanted them, we would have registered them already!
Q. Do I have to have a web page now that I have a domain name?
Domain name registration is simply a name reservation service, and you are not required
to do anything with your domain name. You may wish to simply reserve it, forward
eMail through it, or construct a web site. It is completely up to you. If you do
choose to develop a web site, we can provide top quality web design services at
reasonable fee.
Q. What is a registrar transfer?
A registrar transfer is the act of moving a domain name from one domain name registrar
to another. For example, you might move your domain name from your current registrar
to our company to take advantage of wholesale domain registration and renewal fees,
our technical support or domain services. A registrar transfer service is implemented
by registries and made available to all domain registrars to promote competition
and improved services to the broader Internet community. Please note that transferring
your domain to our company will not affect the DNS information, contact eMail, or
registrant name associated with your domain name. You may modify these areas after
your domain name has been successfully transferred. Transfer and Renew your website

Q. What is a domain name registrar?
A domain name registrar is the organization or company responsible for providing
domain name registration services to the Internet community. An official domain
name registrar is either authorized by ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned
Names and Numbers, an organization dedicated to Internet governance) to provide
registration services for the .com, .net and .org global top-level domain names,
or is authorized by its respective government to register domain names within a
specific ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain name extension). CIRA provides this
function in Canada. A registrar must also be authorized by the registry of a Top
Level Domain to act as an agent of the registry to process domain name registrations,
where the agent is not a reseller. The registrar is also responsible for creating
and maintaining a WHOIS database for its customers.
Q. How do I transfer my domain name from my current registrar to yours?
All you need is a valid credit card and approval from the administrative and/or
billing contacts for the domain name (on file with the current registrar). Use our
automatic transfer to submit your transfer request online. Once your transfer request
has been received, a confirmation eMail is sent to the administrative contacts to
confirm the request to transfer the registrar to us.
If you do not have access to either the administrative or billing eMail addresses,
please contact your current registrar for information on changing your eMail address
before initiating a registrar transfer request. Please note, if only one of the
contacts confirms the transfer request, it will still be processed. However, a five-day
waiting period is given so the remaining contact can reply. This signals our system
to send the transfer request to the registry immediately. The request will not be
processed if either the administrative or billing contacts denies the transfer.
The next steps:
Once the request has been confirmed, we process the transfer request by contacting
the registry automatically
The registry then notifies your current registrar of the transfer request
The current registrar is given 5 days in which to grant or deny the transfer request
If no response is received within the 5-day period, the transfer request is granted
The transfer process takes five to 10 calendar days to be completed
Once your domain is successfully transferred, we send you notification by email
Q. What are the guidelines for transferring registrars?
The domain name(s) undergoing the transfer cannot currently be involved in a dispute
or on registry lock
Your domain name must have been registered for at least 60 days with your current
registrar
You must ensure that either the administrative or billing contact replies to the
confirmation request sent to the eMail addresses on file with the current domain
name registrar
To speed up the process, both contacts should reply
Q. How long does the registrar transfer process take to complete?
Once you have initiated and confirmed the registrar transfer, the transfer process
takes approximately 5 to 10 calendar days to be completed.
Q. Will there be any disruption to my web site or eMail when I transfer registrars?
No. Your web site and eMail services will not be affected by our registrar transfer
service. The transfer does not affect the DNS information, contact eMail, or registrant
name associated with a domain name at the time of transfer. You may modify these
areas after your domain name has been successfully transferred. Click here to Transfer
and Renew your website now
Q. Can a registrar transfer request be rejected?
Your current registrar has the ability to reject a domain name registrar transfer
request in the following situations:
The transfer request was initiated within the first 60 days of the original registration
date
There is a dispute over the domain name
There is a pending bankruptcy of the domain name holder, There is a dispute over
the identity of the domain name holder
The discretion of the registrar
You will be notified via eMail in the event that your domain name cannot be transferred
due to one of the above reasons. Click here to Transfer and Renew your website now
Q. Where can I view the current status of my registrar transfer request?
Once you have submitted the Registrar Transfer form, you can see the status in your
Domain Control Panel that we provide.
Q. What does REDEMPTIONPERIOD or PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE mean?
A domain with status: REDEMPTIONPERIOD (or PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE for .info domains)
has expired and was not properly renewed for at least 40 days. Domains which are
not renewed are deleted, after which point the Registry will hold the domain in
the REDEMPTIONPERIOD/ PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE for 30 days.
Attempts would have been made to contact the Email addresses on the domain's registration
record about the domain's expiration before it was actually expired. Having current,
valid contact information is a requirement for all who register a domain name, as
highlighted in the agreements when the domain was first registered. Renewal reminders
and other important information are sent to these contacts, and having an invalid
email address or aggressive SPAM filters in place will prevent delivery of these
messages.
The Registry-imposed REDEMPTIONPERIOD/ PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE lasts for 30 days,
and it is still possible to recover a domain in this state. The domain can only
be redeemed by the original owner of the domain listed on the WHOIS prior to the
deletion. If you are not the original listed owner of the domain, speak with your
favorite Registration Company about how to determine when a REDEMPTIONPERIOD/ PENDING
DELETE RESTORABLE domain will be available for registration again.
Redeeming a domain is more time consuming and complicated than if the domain was
"renewed" normally during the first 40 days of expiration. Click here

Q. What happens to domain names when they expire?
Expired domains will be held at the registry for a grace period defined by the registry.
For .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, .name, and .cc the grace period is 40 days,
for .ca it is 30 days, for .tv it is 55 days, for .cn it 10 days, for .uk domains
are held until the 25th day of the month after they expire.
There are no grace periods for .de domains. They are deleted on the day after the
expiration date. During the grace period all associated services will cease working
until the name is renewed (if and when this happens). As well, name server/DNS changes
will not be possible. If a renewal is not made by the end of the grace period the
domains will sent to the registry for deletion and returned to the available pool.
Deletion at the registry level can take 1 to 10 days.
Please note, .com, .net and .org registrations will enter into a "Redemption
Period" state. .info registrations enter into a "Pending Delete Restorable"
state. These domains will be held by the appropriate Registry for an additional
30 days. During the Redemption Period or Pending Delete Restorable state it is still
possible to recover the domain name and have it renewed. Click here to Transfer
and Renew your website now
Q. How can I transfer an Expired Domain?
Usually you cannot transfer an expired domain from another Registrar, as the currently
Registrar will not support this. However, you should check with the current Registrar
to verify that you can or cannot transfer the domain. If your domain is about to
expire and want to renew it, click here to Transfer and Renew your website now
Q. My domain is offline, but WHOIS says it expires next year. Why?
WHOIS can be a confusing tool to use when debugging expired domains as it requires
some knowledge of how the global registration system ties together.
In general, when most types of domains (like COM, NET and ORG) expire the domain
is temporarily renewed. This is temporary. This temporary renewal will be removed
if the domain is not renewed or transferred, which will result in the domain going
into a status known as the "REDEMPTIONPERIOD" or "Pending Delete-
Restorable". It may also be deleted outright, depending on the type of domain.
With some types of domains, you can confirm that the domain is expired by taking
note of the expiration month and day. If you have passed this date, and the domain
is offline, it has expired.
Please note that it may take 24 hours for some types of domains to come online once
they have been renewed, and WHOIS will unfortunately not indicate if it was renewed.
